So once in fifth grade this kid said he was moving in two days, so the whole class secretly made and signed a card for him and kids brought in balloons. He came in the next day and everyone was emotional and we all cried and stuff and he thanked us and took the balloons. Then the next day he showed up and he stayed the whole school year.
